Have you heard of punch needle embroidery? I discovered this exciting craft while going through my grandma's crafting supplies and I instantly fell in love. I love the primitive folk-art style. This is my very first one (don't look too close!). The piece measures 2 x 3 3/4" and I glued it onto an aged shipping tag with some of my grandma's buttons :)
This is one of my pages that I made for a Silent Angels Fat Book, hosted by Lisa Busch, that is due in April. I made 10 originals and they are mostly all the same as this one :)
Please visit Julie's blog celebrating her 400th posting! She created a beautiful soldered Madonna and Child Reliquary as a give-away - her attention to detail is magnificent!
My friend, Freda and I, have been trading artful projects and goodies for many years. We've spoken on the phone and still have yet to meet in person, but really feel like we've been friends for a lifetime. She teaches stamp classes and is very talented. Thank you so much for your friendship, Freda!!
